Review & Selection Committee

We are inviting all Bayview leaders to apply for a position on the Review and Selection Committee for the Bayview Mini-Grants. The Review and Selection Committee will be responsible for assisting En2action with allocating $37,500 to grantees who will be curating events in the Bayview.

We are seeking five leaders from Bayview to help us select six community members to receive funding for their events. Each member will receive $200 for their participation on the Committee.

Advisory Board Eligibility Requirements:

  • En2action staff will screen and assign members of the Committee based on four directly relevant core metrics:

  • Community Nativity

  • Community representation is a required component to the Mini-Grants Selection Committee membership. Committee members are required to work or live in the communities they individually represent.

  • Relationships with CBO’s

  • A candidate’s eligibility for the Mini-Grants Selection Committee is influenced largely by his/her working relationships in and with community-based organizations (CBO’s), especially those within target districts.

  • Prior Experience

  • Previous experiences such as serving on an elected events Committee, planning/implementing community events, and involvement in Black culture-oriented functions are all directly relevant criteria to the selection process.

  • Commitment to Attendance

The Mini-Grants Selection Committee is required to convene for 1.5 hours on August 30th 2024, at 2:00pm via zoom.

APPLICATIONS TO JOIN THE COMMITTEE ARE NOW CLOSED!
